CALGARY, AB – Calgary’s first worker-owned plant-based restaurant, The Allium, is set to open its doors for their over-easy brunch launch this weekend, on Saturday December 14th and 15th.

Start off with one of their $6 Mimosas or $8 signature cocktails, which have been created to satiate your most innate breakfast desires, from their vegan Cereal Milk White Russian to their Cherry Mimosa. With an already bustling dinner service, The Allium Weekend Brunch is a much-anticipated addition to the notoriously busy Calgary brunch scene.

With influences from around the world (from Lebanese style fatteh, to Moroccan baghrir Pancakes), combined with a modern spin on more traditional fare (such as their tartine breakfast sandwiches and breakfast ‘salad wraps’) they clearly deviate from the brunch bandwagon.

As with their dinner menu, brunch is an almost entirely vegan and 100% vegetarian menu, meaning there’s no limit to the loved ones you can bring here. But don’t worry, you can still have your eggs and eat them too!

The Allium is located at 211a 12 Ave SW, Calgary, AB and is open for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10:30am – 2pm. Dinner service is Tuesday to Thursday from 5:30pm – 10pm, Friday and Saturday from 5:30pm – 11pm, Sunday from 5:30pm – 9pm.
